This is the bulkhead (wall) between the engine room and the rest of the boat. It's not supposed to have holes. It's supposed to be a watertight barrier as well as a firewall to isolate th engine room. In addition to the larger holes you see there are over 20 screw holes and a a half dozen others that are up to an inch and a half. It's time to deal with it.
